Britta
Becker graduated summa cum
laude from Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine in San
Diego, California in 1995.
After becoming licensed by
the State of California, and
National Board certified, Britta
studied in China at the Traditional
Chinese Medicine Hospital of
Cheng Du. In China she studied
with doctors who specialized
in pediatrics, gynecology,
cardiology, nephrology and
gastroenterology.
Britta
also holds a Masters of Science
in Biology, from the University
of California, San Diego, and
a Bachelors Degree in Biology
from the University of Hawaii.
She spent three years doing
research in molecular evolutionary
biology while working on her
Masters Degree at UCSD.
Since
1997 Britta has been in private
practice in Murrieta, California.
She loves her work, and spending
quality time with her patients; "sticking
pins in them",
prescribing herbs, and educating
them on how best to take care
of themselves. She believes
that the best medicine is empowering
patients to help themselves.
Britta
shares her practice with two
chiropractors, and two massage
therapists. Some patients are
treated by all three modalities
to achieve excellent results
very quickly.
Britta
also teaches yoga at Living
Yoga Center in Temecula, California.
Yoga practice has been part
of Britta’s
life since 1989, and for her,
it is one of the pillars of
physical and mental health.
As such she is inspired to
teach others this wonderful
art, again, as a way to remain
healthy and enjoy a quality
life.
